Every year our extensive family grows.  Each year our elders pass into spirit.

The winds of change blow and we bear witness to realities previously thought impossible.

It is remarkable to see just how far we have come.

We celebrate, we appreciate, we anticipate our Courageous Past, our Excellent Present, and our Outstanding Future.


 

The descendants of Mary Gray & George Welburn are cordially invited to the 2010 Reunion in Philadelphia, PA.  From Thursday, August 5th through Sunday, August 8th, we will be headquartered at the Renaissance Philadephia Hotel. 

Between September 1st, 2009 and July 6th, 2010 you may make reservations for discounted hotel rooms ($99/night for 1 King bed OR 2 Double beds) by calling the hotel directly at 610-521-5900. 

Reunion registration packets are in the process of being mailed & emailed.  If you have not received one, click here for downloadable forms.  Payment plans are available for reunion fees.  Reunion fees are due no later than May 1st, 2010.   

If you are able, please participate in our various fundraisers.

  • The 2nd Commemorative Flag Raffle: On June 30th, a flag will be flown over the U.S. Capitol to honor the 192nd Anniversary of the emancipation of our 4x-great-grandmother, Hannah Welburn.  Like last time, it will be stored in a mahogany case & accompanied by the certificate from the Architect of the Capitol.  Tickets are $5 each, or 5 for $20.  To purchase flag raffle tickets, please click here to download the fundraising form.

  • Gray-Welburn Lapel Pins:Through June 1st, 2010, we are taking orders for 1st edition full-color lapel pins featuring the shield logo of the Gray-Welburn family.  Pins are $5 each.  To place an advanced order, please click here to download the fundraising page.
